Opera mini (for Phillipines only)

GLOBE USERS

guys here's a opera mini for globe users here in the philippines.. and this is already modded .. meaning you can have free browsing with this..   again this is only for GLOBE users in the Philippines..
 ok .. and btw, this requires Globe inet..

1. if your globe sim card is not yet activated for inet, then configure it manually.. go to connectivity then go to access points, make a new one and name it Globe inet..then on the APN put this "http.globe.com.ph" without the "

2. then after that, go to internet profiles, make a new profile and name it globe inet.. name it Globe inet. then choose to use a proxy.. then enter this proxy address "203.177.91.131".. and then it the proxy server port, put "80".. then on the access point choose Globe inet..

3. now you need to make another internet profile.. so make a new one. name it "proxy".. then choose to use proxy, and then enter this proxy "195.189.142.132" then on the proxy server port put "80"..then on the access point put Globe inet..

4. ok now your done configuring your globe inet settings,. next step is to go to games and apps, then choose settings, then choose profiles, and add profile.. name the profile "proxy". then on the internet profile choose "proxy" then save it and activate it..

now all is configured so the last step is to install the opera mini and enjoy browsing for free  ..thanks .. karma will be appreciated.


SMART USERS
ok for the smart users here is the setting. if your smart sim card is not yet activated for inet ,I also included the (GPRS and MMS) settings:


    - Connection Name: SmartInternet
      Access Point Name(APN): internet
      Proxy Server Address(also referred as IP): 10.102.61.46
      Proxy Port Number(Port in short): 8080

    - Connection Name: SmartGPRS
      APN: smart1
      IP: 10.102.61.46
      Port: 8080

    -Connection Name: SmartMMS
      APN: mms
      IP: 10.102.61.46
      Port: 8080

now just follow the steps on the globe users.. it's just the same.. only replace the ip's .. so there,, hope it will work..

PS: Do this step also for the smart users..just the same as the settings for globe

now you need to make another internet profile.. so make a new one. name it "proxy".. then choose to use proxy, and then enter this proxy "195.189.142.132" then on the proxy server port put "80"..then on the access point put Smart inet..


Edit by coolootsky: For those who wanna try this method in having UBT, sadly, this is not already working because of some reasons. I modified this post by Ghuk because some other members here do not read all posts under this thread, thus leaving them blank about the status of this trick. We may wait for some other members that could make the method working again. or maybe not?

not really free i loss 45php in surfing for 3mins

wtf? ok sorry mate.. but globe is having a update on their system to detect those using the fbt.. or the free browsing technique.. so what i suggest is surf only if you have 1 peso load or even 0 load.. it will definitely work..

i think you should have zero balance.
i remember a friend of mine tried to browse for free
(but not this opera thing, maybe he alter or config the settings, i dnt know much of that)
having zero balance oh his load.

yeah i tried using 1balance globe sim and it work, hey ghuk do you know how to access youtube streaming did you finally find the answer to your question hehe (i search first)

Here's the version that I used and enjoyed browsing the net for free even if I have load and didn't lost any even a cent. 
By the way Im a globe prepaid subscriber. Just choose one. 

For the GPRS settings:

Access Points (Menu -> Connectivity -> Access Points -> Add access point):
Connection Title: myGlobe Connect
Bearer: GPRS
Authentication: No Auth
APN: You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login

www.globe.com.ph

Internet Profile (Menu -> Connectivity -> Internet profiles -> Add profile):
Title: myGlobe Connect
Use proxy: ON
Proxy server address: 203.177.042.214
Proxy server port: 8080
Access point: myGlobe Connect

Profiles (Menu -> Games & Apps -> Settings -> Profiles -> Add profile):
Title: Internet
Internet profile: myGlobe Connect
(Then click Activate)
