Power2go3:

Why do want screenshots? Screenshots could be faked whereas ive given a video as hard proof (as you cant fake that) I can't really give any good screenshots because my webcam is terrible quality as you can see in the video.

Okay, ive taken some snapshots even though they are terrible quality, as some people just can't put up with a live video  Angry I don't know why you would need screenshots if ive already shown a video, the only reason i can see is that you can post it on other forums and claim it as your own. So I'm only going to say this once:

If this work is posted on any other forum (and i use a few, so i will notice) and you claim this as you own or do not ask me first. I WILL STOP TRYING TO PROVIDE ANYTHING FOR THE LG COOKIE.

I know this seems harsh to anyone who is reasonable and uses the content to try and improve their phone which is what I intended to provide it for. I have plans to further combining themes, and also providing a much greater default content for the LG Cookie. But if any of my work is copied or reposted then it seems that there is no point in doing it.

Also to note that anyone who says that I 'stole' firmware from Sytze, I had spoken to him beforehand and he also agreed to beta the new combo. There are other parts i may use in combo themes for which i have permission from their creators. If you are going to make anything make sure you get permission first.

Below posted are the screenshots, but remember that these are for display purposes only and not for copying.

Looks nice to me! Now the only thing we need is the background (red-black, you know). But is this background one file, or are the icons attached to the background?

Haven't done anything, because such nice weather Wink Maybe tonight/tomorrow. I tried something with hexeditor, to figure out some things, how the dmf files actually work.

Hey sytze,

Unfortunately the background is scripted into the dmf files. I think that the only way that you can possibly alter it would be to copy the script from the prada topmenu.dmf and paste it into the topmenu of the normal menu (if you wanted a black background that is) but then as its encryption its guess work. If you're looking into how dmf works, then look at a post Torquin posted regarding constants in the coding. Also I don't know if anyone else had noticed it before, but when trying to copy the fav apps menu onto the top menu by renaming i found that it did not work, but this was because (as it said on the phone, something along these lines): Undefined-the file you are trying to open is DMF 4.0 not DMF 3.0.

Don't know if that will help or not but good luck trying as its not easy  Tongue

Thankyou torquin  Smiley

Power2go:

How do you not get it?  Huh

Ok, ill try and explain it simply:

You can change font on your phone, not through using winimage etc...

You now have the Prada volume control which includes a mute button

There is a completely new browser

Then there is the italian topmenu and the prada music player/video player

Could you not download the CUST, extract the .dmf and other files required (mentionned earlier) with winimage and inject them into your CUST (taken from your mobile) ?

That should solve, I think, the firmware problem.

Power2go:

Yes that was the idea when i was compiling it. Also includes some new combinations between the prada and cookie aswell as new stuff like the browser.

Following what torquin said, the CUST is basically a large folder that the phone references from. First extract your CUST from your phone using kp500-utils. Then open it with winimage.

Also open the CUST I posted with winimage, and then copy the .dmf folder into your own CUST (from your mobile) overwriting what is currently there.

Also if you want the browser, open up the CUST i posted and extract the 'Ref' folder which can be found under the 'obigo' folder. Copy this into your CUST replacing the files and you'll have the new browser  Smiley

It's not that hard to do.

It should be working fine  Huh Are you sure that you extracted your own CUST properly as the restarting is due to a compatibility issue.
