If it fits, it should perfectly. Do confirm that it's the same voltage and wattage. And make sure the charger doesn't explode or something. If you charge it in your computer it's no problem. Please report back, because it's a good deal, I think.

It was advertised as "1800mAh HIGH CAPACITY BATTERY FOR LG KP500 KP501 COOKIE"
it is marked as 3.7 V and the price was £4.95 incl postage
So certainly trust it's compatible
Will let you know

Laptop batteries that last two hours are either old, broken, or you're playing 3D games or making stuff that demands a lot of processing power (aka doing it wrong).

That's where i got it from ordered it last Saturday and it arrived today so not bad as i ordered it at the weekend

So far the only test i have put it to is to put it on repeated video play it lasted 3 hours nonstop with the sound down i'll try and see how long the standby time is and update you

Something very weird happening with my phone brand new battery (and the old battery) i only get about 12 hours of standby Shocked Shocked
I noticed this after applying some customizations last week so back to standard V10F see if that cures it then add the changes one by one and try to work out what's doing it Sad

V10F_06

But it's not the firmware, battery life was fine it's the custom .swf files that are chewimg up the battery

I did start a new topic here to discuss it

Battery Problem DMF versus SWF Themes

At the moment i don't think it's a universal problem seems to effect some combinations of .swf files worse than others

No sadly despite twice flashing with bog standard firmware i keep on being tempted by new themes (hoping they will be ok)
So haven't used the new battery long enough to see how long it will last Cry
Have tried iphone V2 and Henka's 1.61 and both seem to "chew up" the battery Cry

Hello

till now we didn't learn anything what's the thread about. If the 1800 mAh is only a gag or not.

maybe you can put the standard LG OS on the cookie and tell us how long the phone is on standby/or in use/or in video play compared to the original 900 mAh battery.
then we can see if it is worth to buy the 1800 mAh

thank you
