By using 1 freesite you can browse any site using ip trick. We trick the server of the OM.

when i use my own operator proxy, my om not albe to connect to the internet..
it show failed to connect to the internet.....

i am using the @ dot trick......
is that correct that i put my operator proxy at the custom http server?
at the front query there i put wap.maxis.com.my@

the operator proxy shud be enabled at the internet profile or the proxy there still stay disabled?

erm......another side ques, can we discuss the ques at just 1 thread?

just now i tried with my proxy on....
then the custom http server i put opera proxy,
then front query put wap.maxis.com.my@(which is my freesite)
but i cant go in to the free page,it redirect me to other page which ask me to pay......

The only problem i have is that "Telia Denamrk"(phone company in Denmark) does not any free site

So my problem is that i still get charged for surfing.


I copied the whole default Access point as set by my operator. Named it FREE1

Made new internet profile called FREE2, and linked it to FREE1.
Entered all as u said in it.

In Games&Apps  folder under Settings i put FREE2 as my internet profile.
Ran OM4,2 And under custom HTTP entered live.vip.hr

Spent half of my credits screwing with the options and still no free internet...

@BloodCrow is your sim pre-paid or post-paid(contract). Because this was tested and working on prepaid sims and your credit must be way low. Here in the Philippines on one provider 1 Philippine peso is enough to make this work unlimited until that 1 peso expires in about 3 days, and more than 9 pesos credit will get sucked. On another provider you can use this trick even without credit which is what I'm using these past few days.

I don't know about the fees on providers from outside of my country. but just to make sure, and to test if your provider's fees will be somewhat similar as ours. make sure your sim is a prepaid one. then use it only when your credit is low, like just enough for 1-5 SMS sending low. who knows maybe you may able to surf even without credit.

When starting OM4.2 after bout 1 mon of instaling i get the message "Falied to connect to the internet Go to....."
Tried everything. So i guess im out... 

Any ideas why wont it work? Is it the operator, free site, country, bug...?

@ Bloodcrow and @rajko try adding http:// with your freesite on your custom http.

@Bloodcrow you can visit my blog You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login if you want to download metal hardcore and related benre. Downloads are full album though and  archived as .rar so you need winrar java app and downloading may take a while if using ur phone.

How about without http:// if that don't work your freesite maybe highly secured. You might wanna try looking for another free site.

Ask dk about his settings maybe that will work with you. Or ask logie to nelp you configure your settings. Hes online.

@Luisagreta if your on prepaid service and on your native browser you hit home and a website of your provider loads and lets you browse it for free without sucking up any amount from your credits then that would be your freesite. sometimes you can browse it even without credit.

YEP! That's what I do. Actually, my phone has 0$ Balance !!! And still have freesite working fine! And I still get my unlimited internet!

That's awesome dk. Mine too. Ive been surfing free with absolutely zero zilch nada credits since i unlocked my phone. but i think you have to load some credits to it from time to time or at least once a month to avoid sim expiry/disconnection.
